About Us

The Croatian Cultural Center of Northern California is a newly formed organization whose primary goal is to promote Croatian culture in the Bay Area. In 2005, we hosted a couple of events, a New Years Eve celebration and a concert featuring one of Croatia's top Pop Stars, Petar Graso. In the future, we plan on bringing more musical acts from Croatia, sponsoring discussions about Croatian history and traditions, organizing tamburica and kolo dancing events, and much, much more.

Our initial goal is to organize events so that the Croatian community in the Bay Area can come together, be together, and grow together. In the future, we hope to have a Croatian Hall (Dom), where we can continue to hold all kinds of events, potentially build a library of books on Croatian history, literature and culture, and simply have a place where any Croatian can feel at home.
